Sometimes the hosts do talk about pop culture and non-political topics. However, Whoopi Goldberg has made it clear that she absolutely hates talking about celebrity gossip. She exclaimed, “Thank God,” after one discussion about Timothée Chalamet’s relationship with reality star Kylie Jenner finally came to an end.
In other instances, The View moderator put her head down on the table and pretended to be asleep during discussions that bored her. One viewer took to social media to blast Whoopi Goldberg for ‘distracting’ them with her bored reactions.

Whoopi Goldberg, 70, famously said a while ago that she can’t afford to retire from The View. She reportedly earns $8 million a year on the ABC talk show. Viewers took to Reddit to call her out for being ‘disrespectful’ to the audience and co-hosts.
