DOOM RPG started as a mobile phone game in 2005, developed by Fountainhead Entertainment and published by JAMDAT Mobile. It combined the familiar first-person shooter format with role-playing elements. with the storyline incorporating many similar events of DOOM 3, but with different characters. Two fans who go by ‘Erick194’ and ‘Anarkavre’ have reverse engineered the game for the PC.
This game is fundamentally different from the others in that it is a turn-based role-playing game, instead of a shooter, with greater emphasis on the plot. In other words, the player turns at 90° angles and moves by stepping on individual spaces. Players have to speak to the scientists and access computer terminals to attain vital information in order to progress through the game, similar to DOOM 3. Download it here now.
