Democrat Senator Chris Coons wept openly on national television while discussing news that President Joe Biden had dropped his re-election campaign.

Coons, who represents Delaware, couldn’t contain his emotions while providing analysis for CBS News Sunday afternoon. And it’s just about the funniest thing you’ve ever seen.

“He’s grounded in his faith, in his family, and in our state,” he said, glancing off-screen and blinking frequently to fight the oncoming floodgates.

“Excuse me. I’m sorry,” he continued, clearly fighting back tears and losing the battle. “This was a very difficult decision. And one that I think reflects the very best of who Joe Biden is.”

As co-chair for the Biden-Harris campaign, Coons has been one of the president’s staunchest allies.

The tears though, seem ingenuous. Being so close to this man means hew knew about Biden’s cognitive decline for quite some time. And yet he kept propping him up as being capable of running the country for another four years?

Just look at this mess …

Chris Coon Wasn’t The Only One

The liberal meltdown wasn’t isolated to Senator Chris Coons being unable to control his tears. Next up, CNN’s Van Jones, who compared Biden’s announcement that he was dropping out to taking the keys away from your beloved grandpa.

“He’s fighting and he’s fighting and everybody’s so frustrated. And then you finally get the keys back. And then you just cry,” he said.

“You just cry, because this is someone that you love, this is somebody that you care about,” added Jones. “This is somebody that was there for you. You wouldn’t be here without him.”

What? Honestly, there are a lot of people who would be here if not for him. Let’s start with the 13 servicemembers who died in Afghanistan. Then move on to all the Americans killed by illegal immigrants or the fentanyl crisis.

Did Coons or Jones ever shed tears for those people?

Van Jones crying about Joe Biden is a disgrace.

Biden ruined our economy, abandoned our border and escalated wars.

Should Have Taken The Keys A While Ago

Unfortunately for the nation and the world, people weren’t fighting to get the keys from Joe. He was running the country. Allegedly.

They were trying to get the keys to the nuclear football which, by the way, he’s still in charge of. Biden only dropped out of his campaign. He’s still the Commander-in-Chief.

The left-wing freakout continued with former White House press secretary Jen Psaki, who also struggled to maintain her composure.

None of these people shed a tear when Donald Trump nearly had his head taken off by a sniper just days ago. Now they’re crying, not for America, but for the prospect of losing power.
