Hot Trends and Reading Recs from Indie Bookstores

    Dear Readers,

BookTrib is a huge fan of indie bookstores — always has been. In Connecticut, our team loves to visit Barrett Books and RJ Julia. My favorites are The Corner Bookstore in NYC and, of course, the legendary Strand.

Whenever I’m in a new city or country, I make it a point to visit one.

An indie bookstore is the heartbeat of culture wherever it is — the stories, the people, the soul.

Today is Indie Bookstore Day, and we’re celebrating the magic, the community and the passion that lives on every shelf.

Discover something unexpected. Support your local Indie Bookstore!
