If you’re in the mood for stylish action RPGs, this one hails from the delightful Ori franchise’s Moon Studios. It bears many similarities to games like Dark Souls or Diablo, and its biggest Steam update yet is adding a featurebeloved by both: co-op.
On its Steam store page, it looks to be a massive overhaul of how players tackle the game’s mechanics, and it coincides with it hitting a recently commendable sales milestone.
No Rest For The Wicked Launches Big Update This Week
Online multiplayer co-op has nearly arrived in No Rest for the Wicked, which only recently held a co-op open beta playtest, running from late December to early January. As for how players have responded to the co-op beta playtest, Reddit user justlogicguy is looking ahead optimistically: “Stability was slightly iffy for me but that was in the beta. Overall I’m super excited for this. I really love the way they’re approaching this to make it feel intentional and rewarding to play where you share a realm that can be entered at any time instead of just dropping in to one person’s session.”
This will be possible via No Rest for the Wicked’s Realm, a shared game world that allows continuous multiplayer without a host. Per No Rest for the Wicked’s Steam page:
“Share your world and progress with up to three friends in the campaign’s online co-op mode. Every quest, boss, and square foot of Isola Sacra is theirs to share with you…or they can simply venture off and do as they please.”
It Hit A Huge Milestone Last Week
But that’s not all there is to celebrate. As of January 15, No Rest for the Wicked announced that it hit a massive sales milestone of one million copies sold:
With that big a player community in early access, it seems fair to assume that No Rest for the Wicked’s early access co-op update will be met with a ton of enthusiasm and a bustling playerbase in four-player Realms.
There is currently no release window for a full1.0 launch of No Rest for the Wicked on Steam, yet it is an ever-evolving experience brimming with content, and enormous updates such as No Rest for the Wicked Together are proof thatthe game’s development potential is incredibly high.
