Iconic Movie & TV Cars You Need To Make Next

Iconic Movie & TV Cars You Need To Make Next

One of the greatest qualities of Grand Theft Auto Online is its extended vehicle customization, which allows players to not only make their cars more potent so that they can better enjoy the game, but also recreate several iconic movie cars, such as John Wick’s Mustang or Dominic Toretto’s Dodge from The Fast and the Furious. While there are plenty of common choices for recreations of movie cars, there are other unlikely ones that can also brighten up players’ garages with their unique feel.

    SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

Players gain the ability to customize every single vehicle to their liking, developing their own aesthetic as they play. One GTA Online player collected Vice City cars in their garage, for instance. However, there’s also nothing to stop players from recreating their favorite vehicles from film and television in-game either. GTA Online caters to this with what feel like deliberately chosen customization options, enabling players to make accurate approximations of set vehicles made by real-life car manufacturers. Creating unique cars is fun in itself, but sometimes it’s nice to pay homage to the classics.

Scooby-Doo’s Mystery Machine Can Be Easily Recreated In GTA Online

The van from Scooby-Doo, recreated in GTA Online.

The van from the iconic Scooby-Doo series is one of the most iconic parts of the animated show and the movies, being extremely well-beloved and easily recognizable. It’s also one of the easiest and best vehicles to recreate in GTA Online, requiring only the player to have access to a Bravado Youga Classic, a vehicle that can be purchased for $195,000. Players can then lead their newly acquired vehicle to a customization workshop, and follow an in-depth tutorial made by Ligiit on YouTube to perfectly recreate the vehicle in the game.

While the infamous pattern of the Scooby-Doo van isn’t present in GTA Online, the Los Santos Customs workshop features a similar pattern located in the Liveries menu called Surf’s Up – the biggest difference being that the waves are facing the opposite direction of the original and there are no painted parts. After respraying the bottom part of the van with the pattern, players can paint the rest of the car with a matching blue color for the top. For this, there is the Racing Blue paint, unlocked by reaching rank 19, or the Ultra Blue paint, which is an unlockable customization upgrade in GTA Online.

GTA Online Has The Perfect Car For Making Mr. Bean’s Mini Cooper

A recreation of Mr. Bean's iconic Mini Cooper in GTA Online.

The Weeny Issi Classic in GTA Online seems to have been made for recreations of the iconic car driven by Mr. Bean, or perhaps the ones featured in The Italian Job. Having been initially added to the game in 2018 as part of the Southern San Andreas Super Sport Series update, the Issi Classic took the regular Issi, a vehicle that can be found being driven by NPCs all over in the main Los Santos series, and added a more vintage look to it, with its compact nature being balanced with its great resistance and speed. However, the Issi Classic can also be used to recreate the classic car present both in the Mr. Bean show, as well as the movies, with a tutorial on how to do so having been made by Just Jake Club on YouTube.

While GTA Online offered a free regular Weeny Issi, its classic version is a pricey vehicle, especially considering it doesn’t feature as many upgrades as other cars, costing $360,000. Making it into the iconic Mini Cooper that appears throughout entries in the Mr. Bean series is an easy process, requiring only the player to change its basic color scheme. At the Los Santos Customs workshop, players will first need to add a secondary black hood to the car, then change the Issi’s color to the regular Yellow paint, unlocked when reaching rank 15, or the Dew Yellow, which is more similar to the original’s and can be unlocked after performing 10 stunt jumps.

GTA Online’s Flying Car Can Become Back To The Future’s DeLorean

    GTA-ONLINE-BACK-TO-THE-FUTURE-DELOREAN

While it’s still impossible to perfectly recreate the DeLorean that appears in Back To The Future, the Imponte Deluxo manages to be the perfect in-game stand-in. Having been based on the DeLorean, the Deluxo is one of the most dangerous vehicles in GTA Online has been infamously known as one of griefer’s favorite chaos machines, given it can fly and has a built-in machine gun and missile launcher. However, regular players who have the money to spare on this vehicle can enjoy it by transporting the infamous DeLorean from Back To The Future from the realm of the movie into a GTA Online server, with Benningfield having made an extensive video on customization of the car and how to do so.

The most difficult part of recreating this iconic car using the Deluxo is acquiring the money to purchase it, with the car costing $4,721,500. However, it is possible to lower this price to $3,550,000 as a reward for completing GTA Online‘s Doomsday Heist mission and acquiring a Facility Property. After completing missions, races, and heists in order to acquire the money and purchase the car, players can then drive the car to Los Santos Customs workshop to make certain changes to the exterior of the car, with the most notable one being the change in the color of both the interior and exterior.

Players Can Steal Thelma & Louise’s Car In GTA Online

A hidden Thelma & Louise Easter egg in GTA Online, in which two women drive off a variant convertible off a cliff as they're being chased by the police.

There are two ways players can acquire the convertible present in Thelma & Louise. The first one makes it the easiest vehicle to recreate in GTA Online, involving little to no work to do and only requiring players to have access to an Albany Manana. This car can be acquired by purchasing it or stealing it from the gangs in the game, such as the Ballas and the Vagos, or even the Families, a modern recreation of San Andreas’ Grove Street gang. After this, players can then drive the car to a Los Santos Customs workshop and make small changes to the chassis and, most importantly, change its color to a light blue.

However, it’s also possible to acquire the car by interrupting a Thelma & Louise Easter egg in Grand Theft Auto Online, as explained in a tutorial made by DrumMag. There is an Easter egg that references the ending of the movie in Grand Theft Auto, and, when the player positions themselves on the cliff where it happens, they can shoot the woman driving the vehicle and proceed to escape the police. Then the player can officialize their ownership of the car in a Los Santos Customs workshop and purchase the complete coverage, making it properly theirs.
