VPR star Lala Kent shared a funny video of her post-surgery to social media. She previously discussed getting another boob job on her podcast.
Lala Kent of Vanderpump Rules has shared a glimpse at her post-surgery look via a funny social media video. Lala previously announced plastic surgery plans back in January. The Give Them Lala podcast host told listeners she was getting her boobs done so they’d look like they did before her pregnancy. She framed the surgery as a treat for herself following her split from Randall Emmett last October.
The ever-outspoken Lala has been brutally honest about more than plastic surgery since her dramatic split. The break-up occurred after Randall was photographed with other women. But as Lala spoke more and more about their relationship, she made it clear infidelity wasn’t the only problem. The Utah native accused her ex, with whom she shares 1-year-old daughter Ocean, of being a narcissist who lived a double life. Lala even said Randall ruined intimacy for her. However, she’s since started dating again. Now she’s get ready to show off a new look, as openly and honest as ever.
On Friday, June 3, Lala shared the video of her immediately post-surgery to her Instagram. In the minute-and-a-half-long video, it was clear she was very groggy from the anesthesia. Still, Lala’s big personality and unique sense of humor was immediately on display, as the clip began with her asking the surgeon “did I fart?” She then repeatedly requested “Housewives,” referencing the Bravo franchise which Vanderpump Rules spun-off from. When asked if she had any dreams, she made her guests laugh out loud by replying, “no, just my eyelids.” Finally, she requested a “blow dryer in the bed.” In the caption, the single mom joked that she “continued on the elevator, announcing to everyone who entered, ‘I got my boobs done.'” Lala, who wants “zero contact” with ex Randall, also explained why her head was wrapped up in the video. “We all got so caught up on boobie talk,” she wrote, “we neglected to mention my sweet left ear being pinned back.” Finally, she thanked her plastic surgeons, and tagged them in the clip.
Lala’s co-stars and fellow Bravolebrities liked and commented on the clip. Stassi Schroeder said the video was “the content we all need” along with a laughing and clapping emojis. Vicki Gunvalson wrote, “This is awesome! You will never remember this.”Actress Julia Fox, who has a Bravo connection via Housewife Leah Sweeney, commented “Omg I loveeee the blow dryer in the bed.” Other commenters praised Lala for being so honest about her plastic surgery. This particular surgery isn’t the first time the 31-year-old has opened up about the impact pregnancy and her split had on her body. In a February Instagram Q&A, Lala revealed her weight struggles to fans.
Honestly about cosmetic procedures isn’t new for Lala. In one of her first appearances on the series, back in season 4, she revealed her boobs were fake after going topless on a cast vacation. The podcaster was also very open about her Botox, fillers, and other procedures in the following seasons. Likewise, some of her co-stars, including Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright, even had their plastic surgeries filmed for the series.
Vanderpump Rules fans who want more of Lala’s big personality and quippy one-liners are in luck. After rumors of cancellation and/or a potential spin-off, Bravo renewed VPR for season 10. The season will mark the first time Lala, Katie Maloney, and Raquel Leviss have all been single at the same time. While fans wait for its return, previous seasons of the Bravo hit are currently available to stream on Peacock.
