Since she had to stay off her feet while recuperating, she wasn’t able to exercise, so her weight-loss plateaued. During 1000-lb Sisters season 6, Amanda stepped on a scale and was disappointed by the numbers. At her previous weigh-in, Amanda had weighed 299 pounds, and this time, the scale read 268 pounds. Learning that she had only lost 31 pounds after bariatric surgery was not ideal.

The Slatons haven’t always been lucky in love, and Amanda is no exception. After her divorce from Jason Halterman, Amanda fell in love with a man named RJ. The photo is of Amanda looking at someone off camera, and her post reads, “What I look like when I look at him.”
