What American Idol Season 10 Runner-Up Lauren Alaina Has Done Since The Show

American Idol season 10 runner-up Lauren Alaina performed a private concert for Charity Lawson and Aaron Bryant on the first one-on-one date of The Bachelorette season 20, leaving people wondering what she’s been up to since her 2011 debut. On The Bachelorette episode 2, Lauren, who is now 28 years old, sang at a private concert for Charity and Aaron. Lauren got her start on American Idol season 10 at just 15 years old at her audition. At the time, judge Steven Tyler proclaimed, “We found the one.” They even sang a duet of his hit song “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing” during her audition.

Lauren turned 16 during American Idol season 10. She placed second to country music singer Scotty McCreery, which launched her very successful country music career. However, Lauren has also ventured into many other areas of the entertainment industry, including acting, writing, and competing on other reality television shows. As she makes an appearance on The Bachelorette season 20, it’s time to check in with Lauren and see what she’s been up to in the decade since she debuted on American Idol.

She won Collaborative Video of the Year with Kane Brown for their song “What Ifs” at the 2018 CMT Music Awards. The song topped five Billboard charts at the same time as well.

Lauren Alaina Was Inducted Into The Grand Ole Opry

Trisha then gave a speech and inducted Lauren into the Grand Ole Opry. Lauren accepted the honor and said that it was so awesome. She promised to represent the country music family well. She was the perfect choice to help Charity on her journey to find love on The Bachelorette. Lauren has been through a lot in her life and she has achieved many things. She’s a multi-talented artist and a wonderful role model with a bright future ahead of her.
