Every day brings another Wordle puzzle for players to solve and June 14th is no different. Here are the daily hints, and answer, to today’s Wordle.
June 14th has another Wordle word for fans to solve, and today’s answer might cause trouble for some players. Wordle is a simple once-a-day word guessing game played on a 5×6 grid. Players begin by guessing any random five-letter word and the game will provide clues in the form of colored boxes. If a letter is highlighted in green it is correct and in the correct position. Yellow highlight means it is a correct letter but it is in the wrong position, and finally grey means the letter doesn’t belong at all. Using this information players can continue to guess five-letter words until they get the right answer, or run out of chances.
If players are looking to make the game more difficult for themselves they can always turn on Wordle‘s Hard Mode. This mode forces players into using the clues given and will lock out letters that have been proven incorrect. This mode can certainly help lower the number of guesses it takes to solve a Wordle by not allowing players to waste guesses on answers that are sure to be incorrect. Some players even find that Wordle is easier when they know it’s hard.

Today’s Wordle Answer (June 14th #360)
Today’s Wordle answer is ATONE.
Atone means to make amends for something, as in “he was being helpful, to atone for his past mistakes.” For our starting Wordle word today we used IRATE. This provided us with a lot to work with, a correctly placed ‘E’ and two incorrectly placed letters ‘A’ and ‘T’. Moving things around a bit our second guess was BATHE, this only provided more incorrect placements for the ‘A’ and ‘T’ and a few other incorrect letters. Finally, we got lucky and won today’s Wordle in three guesses with the correct answer ATONE. Sometimes that is just how the game works, ATONE is certainly not a word we use in casual conversation but it just popped up in our brain and ended up being the right answer.
