At the London stop of Kim Deal’s 2025 tour, The Breeders’ frontwoman brought out Dave Grohl to perform Pixies’ “Gigantic.” Watch the replay below.
On Friday night (June 20th), the Foo Fighters frontman joined the former Pixies bassist onstage at Roundhouse in London. Deal and Grohl have performed this track together a handful of times over the years, including at a Vets Aid show in 2022 and at an Austin City Limits post-festival concert in 2023. Before launching into their rendition Grohl joked, “I’ll sing whatever you ask me to sing. I’ll do whatever you ask me to do,” while Deal laughed along.
Kim Deal will appear at a handful of festivals this summer and early fall, including at Newport Folk Festival, Ohana Festival, and the free Washington-based CHOMP! Festival (get tickets here). In October, Foo Fighters will trek across Asia, and later headline Mexico City’s Corona Capital Festival in November (get tickets here).
