Cher Pledges To Move Out Of U.S. If Trump Is Re-elected – ‘This Time I Will Leave’

The radically liberal singer Cher is speaking out this week to say that she will leave the United States if Donald Trump is re-elected in 2024.

Cher To Leave America If Trump Wins

“I almost got an ulcer the last time [Trump was elected],” Cher, 77, told The Guardian. “If he gets in, who knows? This time I will leave [the country].”

Unfortunately for Cher, however, this is already backfiring on her, as social media users are having a field day with her comments, according to Newsweek.

“Then everybody vote for Trump by all means,” one user commented, with another adding, “I will help her move.”

“Get the hell out. Nobody cares,” commented a third user. A fourth person wrote, “She shouldn’t wait, she should go now. Great singer, but not a bright font of knowledge.”

“Really, who cares. She is irrelevant,” someone else said.

Cher has long been one of the most anti-Trump figures in the entertainment world. Back in 2015, she claimed that she would move to the planet Jupiter if Trump became president.

“IF HE WERE TO BE ELECTED, I’M MOVING TO JUPITER,” she tweeted at the time, according to Fox News.

Unfortunately for all of us, Cher remained on planet Earth after Trump defeated her beloved Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election. During his presidency, Cher was one of his most outspoken critics, ranting against Trump seemingly every chance she got.

In 2018, Cher told The Washington Post that “Trump has done so much damage and I’m not sure people really understand how deep the damage goes.”

The next year, while being given an award at VH1’s “Trailblazer Honors,” Cher used her speech to bash Trump.

“When I see Trump spew his hatred and tell his gazillion lies, I get pissed off, but I also feel really uneasy. Then I see [California Rep.] Nancy [Pelosi] come on TV and I think, ‘It’s all good, Nancy is in the House,’” she said at the time.

    Cher Campaigned For Biden

Cher campaigned hard for Biden in 2020, describing him as “honest” and “smart” while attacking Trump for “ripping the guts out of America,” according to Daily Mail.

“Everybody in my house will be jumping,” Cher told People Magazine of a potential Biden win before the 2020 election. “We’ll go jump into the swimming pool. We’ll run around, screaming at the top of our lungs.”

“I’ll call my mom, I’ll call my sister, I’ll call all my friends, and we will just be the happiest people that ever lived,” she continued. “It will be the happiest day of my life.”

    — Joe Biden (@JoeBiden) February 22, 2020

Unsurprisingly, Cher used this interview to bash Trump as well.

“Trump is like Nixon on steroids,” she said. “I’m just praying that our people will vote in a quantity that he will not be able to change the vote. He’s got a lot of dirty tricksters. You know? They’re very creative.”

This is Trump derangement syndrome at its absolute worst. Should Trump be re-elected in 2024, we can only hope that Cher follows through with her promise and moves out of the country for good, as we are all better off without her.
