    Jim Messina, the former White House deputy chief of staff under Barack Obama, slammed Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) for endorsing a primary challenger to the head of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC).

    New York State Senator Alessandra Biaggi is challenging DCCC chair, Sean Patrick Maloney, for New York’s 17th district in the House.

    The state’s most famous socialist views Biaggi as a more progressive candidate in a race created by New York’s new redistricting maps.

    “Through hard work, Alessandra was able to break through and deliver a series of progressive wins for New York State,” Ocasio-Cortez praised. “Now, she’s ready to take her leadership to Congress where I know she’ll continue fighting for working people.”

    Messina raged about the problem, calling the endorsement “counter-productive.”

    Messina Slams AOC For Endorsing DCCC Head’s Opponent

    Messina fired back at AOC for her endorsement of the opponent to the DCCC chair calling it “dumb s***” and warning it’s moves like this that could contribute to a Red Wave in November.

    “This is so counter-productive. The Supreme Court is about to outlaw abortion. We could lose both houses. So we are going to focus our time running against each other?” he tweeted.

    “Now we’re primarying committed progressives because … why? If we lose house it’s because of dumb sh*t like this,” added Messina.

    Biaggi has been a big proponent of the ‘defund the police’ movement in New York even as crime spiked in New York City due to Democrat bail reform policies.

    “The police in this country are soulless,” Biaggi once wrote on Twitter.

    More ‘Dumb S***’

    This isn’t the first example of AOC being accused of promoting ‘dumb s***’ in recent days, and it certainly won’t be the last barring the congresswoman getting one of those ‘Flowers for Algernon’ surgeries.

    Earlier this week she was roundly mocked for going on a “mini-rant” about Democrats not using the term ‘Latinx’ –  a word Latinos overwhelmingly reject.

    “And they’re like, ‘this is so bad, this is so bad for the party,’ like blah blah blah,” she said. “And it’s almost like it hasn’t struck some of these folks that another person’s identity is not about your reelection prospects.”

    “Gender is fluid, language is fluid,” AOC further claimed.

    Legendary Democratic strategist James Carville has consistently hammered progressives who focus on ridiculous terminology and defunding the police.

    “They come up with a word like ‘Latinx’ that no one else uses. Or they use a phrase like ‘communities of color,’” Carville lamented.

    He, like Messina, believes the absurdity of dumb s*** like “stupid wokeness” and anti-police movements are killing Democrats at the ballot box.

    “I mean this ‘defund the police’ lunacy, this take Abraham Lincoln’s name off of schools, people see that,” Carville said after his party was slaughtered in the Virginia elections. “And it really has a suppressive effect all across the country on Democrats.”

    AOC has had run-ins with the DCCC in the past, having been called a “deadbeat” by one Democrat staffer after refusing to pay dues to the committee.
