A thin-skinned Liz Cheney could not help herself in firing back at President Trump on Friday over his savage remarks regarding the medal she received from Joe Biden and ended up making a huge error in the process.
As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, Biden awarded the second-highest civilian medal to 20 individuals on Thursday. These included the leaders of the January 6th select committee, Cheney and Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-MS), along with two of his longtime friends/cronies, former Senators Ted Kaufman (D-DE) and Chris Dodd (D-CT).
The award, known as the Presidential Citizens Medal, is generally given to Americans who have “performed exemplary deeds of service for their country or their fellow citizens.” The Biden regime’s view of service is persecuting their enemies and having the right kind of relationship with Old Joe.
This reality was not lost on Trump as responded to this blatant mockery of the award with fire earlier Friday afternoon:
“Biden gave Liz Cheney a Medal yesterday, even though she has proven to be totally corrupt,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “She, “Bennie” Thompson, and the rest of the Unselect Committee, destroyed and deleted all evidence from their crooked investigation of January 6th.”
“Cheney has the distinction of losing her Congressional seat by the largest margin in History!” he added. “The people of Wyoming understood how bad for our Country she was, but Biden rewarded her only because she hated “TRUMP.” She’s a Warmonger of low intelligence.”
“All she wants to do is kill people in “Endless Wars,” with no gain other than to defense companies,” Trump continued. “Liz Cheney, Cryin’ Adam Kinzinger, Bennie Thompson, and the rest of these dishonest Thugs have gotten away with horrible things under the pretense of January 6th. Nancy Pelosi refused to accept the help which was offered for security.”
“She is responsible, and admitted as much, for all to see, on her daughter’s tape. They have destroyed the lives of many people, and are rewarded by getting Biden Fake Medals. This is not America. January 20th cannot come fast enough. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
Cheney soon noticed Trump’s remarks and proceeded to issue a lie-filled, childish response on X Friday evening.
“Donald, this is not the Soviet Union,” Cheney wrote. “You can’t change the truth and you cannot silence us. Remember all your lies about the voting machines, the election workers, your countless allegations of fraud that never happened?”
“Many of your lawyers have been sanctioned, disciplined or disbarred, the courts ruled against you, and dozens of your own White House, administration, and campaign aides testified against you,” she added. “Remember how you sent a mob to our Capitol and then watched the violence on television and refused for hours to instruct the mob to leave? Remember how your former Vice President prevented you from overturning our Republic?”
“We remember. And now, as you take office again, the American people need to reject your latest malicious falsehoods and stand as the guardrails of our Constitutional Republic — to protect the America we love from you.”

Besides Cheney’s deranged screed, TGP readers will notice the embarrassing mistake she made while responding to Trump’s comments. It turns out that the X account, pictured at the bottom of her post, she thought was Trump’s is actually an account that re-posts all of his statements from Truth Social.
Had Cheney bothered to look before angrily tweeting, she would have seen this as well.
X users quickly saw Cheney’s huge error and immediately dunked all over her on this along with her stupid post.
