The Left Comes Unglued Whining That Fox News Will Not Air Jan. 6 Prime Time Committee Hearing

The Left Comes Unglued Whining That Fox News Will Not Air Jan. 6 Prime Time Committee Hearing

The late satirist P.J. O’Rourke may have summed up the left, their ideology, and their means of carrying it out in just two sentences.

He said, “At the core of liberalism is the spoiled child — miserable, as all spoiled children are, unsatisfied, demanding, ill-disciplined, despotic and useless. Liberalism is a philosophy of sniveling brats.“

And that is never more on full display when they don’t get their way.

What are the odds that the Democrat scripted Jan 6 hearing on TV Thursday will get an Emmy for best work of fiction?

    The Left Loses It (Again)

In a rare (thankfully) prime time showing, the House Select Committee on Jan. 6 will have a televised hearing in prime time on Thursday. Mainstream media is salivating at the thought of yet another chance to make former President Donald Trump, or at the very least his associates, out to be rabid “insurrectionists.”

But not everyone is participating in the spectacle, which has the left in a panic. Fox News Channel has announced that it will not be airing the hearing in its entirety, but have opted for regular prime time hosts to break in during their programs if need be.

CNN’s Brian Stelter couldn’t contain himself. In a tweet, he blathered on about Fox’s Tucker Carlson spreading “conspiracy theories,” and calling members of the Committee “illegitimate.”

Is it just me, or does the mental image of the late actor Frank Gorshin’s portrayal of The Riddler on the old 60’s “Batman” TV series come to mind when talking about Stelter?

Fox News makes it official: It will NOT show Thursday’s 1/6 hearing like all the other major networks. Tucker Carlson’s show will air as usual. Carlson promotes conspiracy theories about the riot, calls the committee “illegitimate,” and ridicules the committee members.

But the most aggrieved by Fox’s decision not to make prime time stars out of token GOP Committee members and loyal Never Trumers Reps. Liz Cheney (R-WY) and Adam Kinzinger (R-IL), is Mediaite’s Colby Hall, who offered up a snark-filled op-ed about Fox News “betraying its own viewers and selling out the country.”

The only thing missing was the accusation of tugging on Superman’s cape.

Hall continued, saying that in their judgment, “entirely from a business perspective,” Fox’s decision “made sense.” Running “counter-programming for a loyal viewership not interested in re-litigating the events of that day makes a lot of sense, in terms of advertising revenue.”

Translation: Fox viewers could give a crap what Never Trump Republicans and Democrats are doing to attempt to ensure that Donald Trump does not run for office again.

Of course, no doubt Fox was waiting on pins and needles for that business edict from Hall, who of course has nothing but the best interests of Fox viewers at heart.

Your Ratings Are Twice As Good As Ours But…Fake News! (Or Something)

The op-ed continues, saying that of course, the hearings will be “incredibly embarrassing” for Donald Trump.

It is probably safe to say not nearly as embarrassing as the Jan. 6 Committee itself being caught altering a text message between from Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) and former Trump chief of staff Mark Meadows that Committee member Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) presented as actual evidence.

Election Denier Hillary Clinton, whose 2016 campaign manager admitted that she personally approved leaking bogus ‘Russian collusion’ material to the media, is very upset with Fox.

Fox News won’t air the January 6 hearings because they prefer their sedition made fresh on-site.

‘We Know What’s Best For You’

But for all the questioning of journalistic integrity, pretending to care about Fox News viewers, or dragging out their convenient patriotism to rail about how Fox’s non-coverage is “damaging the country,” perhaps the most irritating part of the whole op-ed is where the determination is made that, “it’s more important that Fox News viewers watch these hearings than anyone else.”

Why would that be? Because you need the entire nation believing the load of manure the Jan. 6 Committee is selling?

Want some “truth?” Here it is. The left not only hates conservatives for what we believe and why we believe it, they hate that no matter what they do, what they say, where they try to censor and ban us from, they can’t control us.

And that scares the hell out of them.

Dems in Congress announced a primetime, made-for-TV hearing on Jan 6.

What they haven’t had a primetime hearing on:
    – The record-high gas prices
    – The soaring inflation
    – The border crisis
    – The supply chain nightmares

Tells you all you need to know about their priorities.
