Last month, a credible whistleblower came forward with allegations that the United States government has not only been investigating UFOs for decades, but has downed these crafts and taken the bodies of their pilots. News that typically would be relegated to the covers of grocery store rag mags or only spoken about in the dark #UFOtwitter corners of Twitter suddenly hit mainstream media with force.
While interesting that the 24/7 media giants are covering UFO news during daytime and primetime news feeds, what really should make the average citizen curious is the focus that both the right and left in Congress are putting on this once-fringe topic. Republicans and Democrats are demanding transparency and even potentially more public hearings in the future.
Some elected officials are more convinced than others that the phenomenon military members and the average Joe have witnessed in the skies are otherworldly. So, are these high-ranking and influential whistleblowers telling the truth, or are they pulling our leg?

Game Over, Man, Game Over
Last week, Congressman Tim Burchett (R-TN) announced that based on what he has seen and been briefed on in classified settings, “if they’re out there, they’re out there, and if they have this kind of technology, then they can turn us into a charcoal briquette.”
Congressman Tim Burchett says he hopes to have six people testifying at UFO hearings later this month.
People from the scientific community, pilots, and “some whistleblowers.”

Talk about a visceral image. What kind of technology is he referring to?
The same kind that the likes of former Pentagon Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon (UAP) Task Force head Luis Elizondo explained years ago in the initial breakthrough articles that hit the main pages of The New York Times:
- anti-gravity lift
- sudden and instantaneous acceleration
- hypersonic velocities without signatures
- low observability, or cloaking
- trans-medium travel
Or, as Congressman Burchett laid out, “if they can travel light years or at the speeds that we’ve seen, and physics as we know it, fly underwater, don’t show a heat trail, things like that, then we are vastly out of our league.”

A Morbid Collection?
Former intelligence official and fellow Air Force veteran David Grusch came forward last month as a whistleblower. In his public claims, he alleged that while investigating the UAP phenomena, he came across government officials who assert that secret programs in our government have UFO crafts and – here comes the icky part – dead alien bodies.
Grusch said, “Well, naturally, when you recover something that’s either landed or crashed sometimes you encounter dead pilots and, believe it or not, as fantastical as that sounds, it’s true.”
Gross.
The Pentagon was quick to allege that Grusch’s claims are false, saying that there is no verifiable information “to substantiate claims that any programs regarding the possession or reverse engineering of extraterrestrial materials have existed in the past or exist currently.”
Typical dodge from the five-sided building, but is it true?
Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) brings up what I think is the most exciting and terrifying aspect of this entire saga.
“Either what the whistleblower is saying is partially true or entirely true or we have some really smart, educated people with high clearances and very important positions in our government who are crazy and are leading us on a goose chase,” he stated.
Hello most of US legacy mainstream media, anyone awake? The vice chairman of one of the US’ most powerful Congressional oversight committees thinks this David Grusch #UAP story, if true, is potentially the biggest story in human history. “Yawn”, they say. Back to sleep. https://t.co/QoWdvaXOLD

So our options are:
- The US government has some form of secret UFO programs.
- The US government has secret UFO programs, downed UFOs, and poor ET that piloted them.
- These people are crazy and making it up.
Yikes, not a great selection to choose from!

Senator Rubio continued to illustrate the implications of these latest whistleblowers and whether or not they are telling the truth.
“Most of these people have held very high clearances and high positions within our government,” he said. “So, you ask yourself: What incentive would so many people with that kind of qualification – these are serious people – have to come forward and make something up?”
I like you, Marco, but your statement is a bit naïve. There are many incentives to make up something fantastic, even if you are a serious person – primarily the opportunity for fame and glory.
However, the preponderance of people coming forward with similar allegations adds credence to his argument that it doesn’t make sense that so many would lie.
Senator Rubio went on to discuss the allegations that people within the government purposely withhold information on these programs. He argued that if the above is true, “There’s a group of people who believe that they possess something that they don’t need to share with anybody, including elected officials, whom they view as temporary employees of the government.”
That’s what former President Donald Trump called The Swamp. Maybe somebody should do something about that?

Last week, Senator Chuck Schumer (R-NY) introduced legislation requiring the government to declassify records related to UFOs.
“The American public has a right to learn about technologies of unknown origins, non-human intelligence, and unexplainable phenomena,” Senator Schumer rightly said.
In this rare instance, I agree with Chuck.
Unfortunately, his legislation will do little to shed any real light on the situation. This legislation is modeled off of the JFK Assassination Records Collection Act, and we all know how well the declassification of what arguably is the original and mother load of conspiracies has gone.
It IS ridiculous that any papers from the JFK assassination are classified..what could possibly be the national security reason all these years later? https://t.co/sKQikvGKTl

Senator Rubio descibed the possibility of an underground group of government officials keeping things from the public and those we elected as an “internal military complex that’s their own government and is accountable to no one.”
You don’t have to believe in flying saucers and little grey men to think and, quite frankly, know that what the senator describes is alive and well. The question is, what is the motive behind this internal struggle that seems to be brewing behind the walls of our government?
Are these whistleblowers dutiful soldiers sent to provide fantastic tales of aliens and spacecraft in an attempt to divert from something completely unrelated? Is there a secret cabal of G-men running dark programs on extraterrestrial craft and life, pulling the strings of a much more complex web with broader implications for our species?
Only time will tell, I suppose.
Until then, dear reader, I’d pay attention to the skies above you and the information our government allows us to have – regardless of whether you are a believer.
