Amid Bruce Willis’ difficult journey with the diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia (FTD), Demi Moore understands the value of being present. Demi and Bruce share three children, Rumer Willis, Scout LaRue, and Tallulah Willis. But even after their divorce in 2000, Demi and Bruce built their lives around each other and their kids. While Demi’s professional career is flourishing, she continues to remember the importance of spending time with Bruce making new memories and supporting Emma as well.
Demi Moore Prioritizes Making New Memories With Bruce Willis
Sadly, Bruce Willis received the diagnosis of FTD three years after getting the news of his original diagnosis of aphasia. Unfortunately, this specific disease can affect communication and personality as time goes on. Seemingly, Demi Moore’s star-studded year isn’t keeping her from prioritizing Bruce. A close friend of Emma Heming Willis reported that Demi is committed to Bruce’s well-being. Not only do they find ways to add fun and spunk to their lives, but Demi reports updates about her career to Bruce regularly.
Demi has been in the spotlight on The Today Show for her indie film, The Substance. The role gave her a different outlook on the treasure of aging. Furthermore, she has been successful with FX/Hulu’s miniseries Feud: Capote vs.The Swans and Paramount+’s drama Landman. Furthermore, the friend notes, “Demi’s had an incredible year.” They even gave her praise for “handling all the new attention and awards buzz” while remarkably also “keeping Bruce’s peace and comfort at the very top of her list of priorities.”

Since Demi Moore and Bruce Willis were married from 1987 to 2000, they had thirteen years to get to know each other as a couple. While their marriage came to an end, they still understood prioritizing family was essential. As time marches on, they still find ways to connect. An insider echoed the same sentiment to In Touch. Saying, “Keeping Bruce comfortable and keeping his spirits up has become the central mission of Demi’s life.” Additionally, they recognized that “no amount of Oscar chatter” will deter “Demi from the weekly time she spends with Bruce.” Even more so, they note Demi is there for him “especially during the holiday season.” Likewise, they still share special exchanges for birthdays too.
However, with communication deterioration, Demi Moore has noted that sometimes there are only “chuckles” and “warm grins” shared as they spend their precious moments together. Likewise, Demi sees the interactions as a “necessity” not just an option. He recently made a special appearance outside his home to honor a hero.
