This was mainly after Scandoval occurred. However, they fired all of the original cast. This was something that fans were not expecting. However, they made it a reboot and started over with the current workers at SUR. Fans were upset about this from the beginning. So, a lot of people did not plan on watching it in the first place. Some gave it a try but were not too impressed.

Vanderpump Rules seems to be on the verge of cancellation after their ratings were so bad for Season 12. An insider told The Sun about all of this.
“Bravo execs are struggling with the reboot. First of all, they don’t find the show to be as good, that’s the biggest issue. The cast is not landing with the audience like the network thought before they filmed, and this big revival turned out to be a letdown.”
The Season 12 premiere only brought in 290,000 viewers. This is an all-time low. It was an 80% drop from Season 11. Fans have not been interested as most did not like the new cast. The show is on thin ice and may not have any more seasons after this one.
It seems as though the show is not doing too well. After Season 12, the show may be canceled. They have the rest of the season to make things better. However, fans were not impressed with the new cast on the first episode of Season 12, and this has set the tone. Fans were upset about the change from the beginning.
