Jimmy Fallon Mocks Trump Health & Cognitive Tests in Scathing Monologue

    What To Know

    • Jimmy Fallon continued to mock President Trump and the Great American State Fair on Thursday’s Tonight Show.
    • The late-night host targeted Trump’s declining approval ratings and his doctor’s glowing health evaluations.
    • Fallon is one of the only regular late-night hosts not currently on summer hiatus.

While the rest of late-night is on summer hiatus, Jimmy Fallon is picking up the slack when it comes to roasting President Donald Trump and his administration.

On Thursday’s (June 25) edition of The Tonight Show, Fallon continued to mock the 16-day Great American State Fair on the National Mall, which kicked off in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday (June 24). In his opening monologue, the host noted some of the attractions visitors can look forward to at the fair.

“The fair has everything. There’s a giant Ferris wheel, there’s a carousel. They even have a Trump approval rating roller coaster, which has the biggest drop in history,” Fallon quipped, referring to the president’s rapidly decreasing poll numbers.

He then took a swipe at the White House medical team and Trump’s glowing health evaluations, joking, “And this is fun. They also hired Trump’s doctor to guess what you want your weight to be. ‘150?’ ‘Sure.’”

“If that’s not all, they even have a petting zoo with some of the animals Trump named during his last cognitive test,” Fallon continued before breaking out his Trump impression. “‘Horse, duck… stripey horse.’”

Trump has frequently bragged about his cognitive tests, including a social media post on May 31, where he wrote, “Unlike other U.S. Presidents, none of whom have ever taken an approved, high difficulty, Cognitive Test, I scored a perfect 30 out of 30, considered ‘extreme intelligence.’”

He continued, “Are the Dumocrats really surprised? In fact, this is my fourth such test, all PERFECT or, 120 correct answers out of 120 questions asked! It is very rare that anyone gets a Perfect Score, especially when achieved four times in a row.”

CNN medical analyst Jonathan Reiner previously commented on Trump’s assertions, noting, “I’m glad the president did well on the MOCA exam, but it’s a dementia screening tool, not an IQ test, so a score of 26 or higher represents normal cognitive performance, not extreme intelligence. None of the questions are high difficulty.”

Fallon previously mocked the Great American State Fair on Wednesday’s show, saying “There’s funnel cake, there’s corn dogs, turkey legs, and lots of other foods found during Trump’s colonoscopy… There’s even a dunk tank with JD Vance and a drunk tank with Kash Patel.”

He also mocked Trump’s recently renovated, algae-infested Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, joking, “Yep, the state fair will be a lot of fun, although if you win a goldfish, I’m pretty sure I know where they got the water from.”
