Kylie Jenner has established herself as a prominent social media influencer over the years. However, she’s recently sparked criticism from fans after featuring a product in one of her videos. However, some have also come out to defend the star.
Kylie Jenner Showed Off The Product In A ‘Get Ready With Me’-Style Video On TikTok
Jenner is a media personality and businesswoman who became known to audiences after appearing in her family’s series, Keeping Up with the Kardashians. She later appeared on the Hulu reality series, The Kardashians.
Over the years, Kylie has established herself on social media, becoming one of the most-followed people on Instagram. As a businesswoman, she is also known for founding Kylie Cosmetics.

Recently, however, Kylie has fallen under fire thanks to one of her recent promotions. During a TikTok video released on January 10, she showed off Foodology’s viral Cutting Jelly. Often dubbed “Korean Ozempic,” this product reportedly curbs appetite by slowing down digestion.
Kylie could be seen using the jelly in a “get ready with me”-style video for fans. During the video, she shared, “I just got ready for my last fitting before my event tomorrow. I’ve added a new favorite to my routine: pomegranate-flavored Cutting Jelly. This is not a typical jelly. This is a Cutting Jelly for digestion, debloating. Like, what?”

The star shared that one of her goals in the new year was to cut down on snacks. She also ended her video by showing off her figure in a red latex dress before ingesting some of the jelly in her car. She also explained the product’s use of chia seeds.
As mentioned, it has been claimed that the jelly could help in blunting appetite. However, some experts suggest that it might not lead to significant weight loss.

According to GQ, Harvard professor of gastroenterology Chethan Ramprasad, MD, claimed, “The stomach has a natural rhythm of emptying—fiber may slow down that rhythm.” Instead, Dr. Ramprasad advised diet, exercise, and a “consideration of medications like GLP-1s.”
Meanwhile, Kylie’s recent post has received attention online, including a recent post on Reddit. Many have criticized her for promoting the jelly on her platform. A few also speculated that some parts of the video might have just been for show.

That said, others have come to her defense, saying that even some critics have shown interest in trying the product. Some comments included:
- “Do you actually use these or was just paid.”
- “[Those] ARE NOT for digestion, they are collagen jelly.”
- “Times are REALLY tough. ‘Billionaire’ Kylie Jenner is now advertising laxatives on TikTok.”
- “It’s so irresponsible for celebrities to advertise supplements and laxatives. There are so many impressionable kids/teens who will take this as gospel and it may actually cause them serious harm.”
- “It’s cracking me up that she took a bunch of laxatives and chose to leave the house.”
- “Her face says she was touching and seeing that for the first time and she had no idea what to do with it.”
- “This is terrible of you Kyle. I’m so disappointed! Where can I order it from?”
