Many well-known stars have been impacted by the recent Los Angeles wildfires. Actress and television personality Ricki Lake, however, recently talked about a supernatural warning she may have received. Notably, this prediction was made by another television personality.
Ricki Lake Recently Lost Her Home In The Pacific Palisades Fire
Lake’s breakout role was arguably Tracy Turnblad in John Waters’ 1988 film, Hairspray. She would later appear in a ew other of Waters’ projects, such as Cry-Baby and Serial Mom. Other notable films Lake appeared in include Mrs. Winterbourne and Last Exit to Brooklyn.
In 1993, Lake would go on to host her own talk show, which ran until 2004. Lake also briefly hosted a revival series in 2012.
According to Us Weekly, Lake was one of many stars to have been impacted by the recent Los Angeles wildfires. However, the star claims to have had some eerie warning about what was to happen.
Taking to Instagram, the star shared a clip of her appearing on self-proclaimed medium Tyler Henry’s show. As Lake noted in the caption, “The great [Tyler Henry] called it!”
“Less than three months ago, on Oct 15th, 2024 Ross and I were on Tyler’s show and guys, he SAW the fire. The show is on [Netflix.] I urge you to watch it.”
Lake finished the post writing, “Praying for all those impacted by this ongoing nightmare, including my new friend, [Tyler Henry] and [Rachael Harris] whose homes I hear may be at risk.”
Lake Also Shared Updates With Fans Over The Fire On Social Media
Henry is a self-proclaimed psychic and medium. He notably appeared on Keeping Up with the Kardashians back in 2015, where he gave one of the Kardashian sisters a reading. Henry would then go on to host his own shows, Hollywood Medium with Tyler Henry and Life After Death with Tyler Henry.
Back in 2024, Lake appeared with her husband Ross Burningham on Live From the Other Side. At the time, Henry offered the following prediction: “There might end up being a coincidence where, not only do we lose everything, something.”
“I think this might have already happened. If there was a loss of material objects from both fire and water. It’s too separate things. We’re gonna end up finding there’s a story where there was a house fire or something along those lines; a fire risk… There’s something about watching water seepage into places it shouldn’t and damaging [pictures].”
Lake later revealed that she and her husband “lost our home” in a post on Instagram. Sharing video updates with fans, the post featured early warning signs of the fire, the set-up of a fire defense system, and Ross hosing down a neighbor’s palm tree.
As the publication noted, Live From the Other Side co-host Amanda Kloots also touched on the prediction in an Instagram story. As she noted, “This is WILD.”
