Actress and author, Tori Spelling is recalling a time when she was shot while riding in a parade. Tori Spelling Recalls Being Shot In Midst Of Parade
Since she was a little girl, Tori Spelling has filled up her acting resume. It did not hurt that her father, Aaron Spelling was a legend in the television game. As she got into her teens, a hot new series, Beverly Hills, 90210 was being cast. Tori wanted to audition but she did not want nepotism to play a factor in the casting process. So, she went by Tori Mitchell and landed the role of Donna Martin which she played for the show’s ten-season run.
The cast did a lot of promotions and fan events, something they have started to do again. Since losing Luke Perry and Shannen Doherty, they’ve stayed a close-knit group and tried to squash as much beef as possible. Tori also started her podcast, misSPELLING. She talks about her time on the show, cast interactions, memorable moments, and life in general. Furthermore, she will have guests she can bounce off of and understand what she went through. Recently, the mother of five took to her Instagram to share another memory from her BH90210 days.
A teenage Tori Spelling was riding in The Hollywood Christmas Parade alongside Brian Austin Green. Not only were they romantically linked on 90210 but they also had a dalliance off camera. The two were having a lovely time, cruising along until Tori was shot with a BB gun. It hit her leg and she immediately looked to Brian and told him she’d been shot. Of course, he knew her very well and felt she was being dramatic. In fact, she was not being dramatic.
The Aftermath
When all was said and done, Tori Spelling looked down and did have a burn hole in her jeans. Fortunately, they were the only casualty of the whole situation. That and her inability to ride in parades for many years to come. Nevertheless, she still does love watching the parade with her family and the getting shot part just adds to the memory. Fans were shocked by the story but happy that she was fine:
