Former Biden Press Sec. Jen Psaki Says Don’t Elect Trump Because He’ll Throw His Enemies in Jail

Former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki wants the world to know that while President Joe Biden may be older and mentally diminished, he’s still better than re-electing Donald Trump.

Why? Because she says Trump, if re-elected, will throw his enemies in jail.

Psaki said on MSNBC, where she is now a host after working for the administration:

“Guess what? Joe Biden isn’t perfect. No candidate is, by the way. But we have to understand what the alternative is here. If elected to a second term, Donald Trump would prosecute anyone he deems an enemy, unleash troops on protesters, and essentially unravel the rule of law as we know it, and this time, he plans to align his administration with people who will actually do it. But sure, Joe Biden is three years older and occasionally trips on things.”

“Psaki’s mentioned concerns come after Trump recently claimed that the Biden administration has weaponized the Justice Department and the FBI. Trump stated that he could ‘certainly’ do the same with his political opponents if he became president again,” the Examiner noted.

Trump himself is currently fighting not one, but two federal cases headed up by special counsel Jack Smith – for “attempting to overturn the election” and for allegedly mishandling classified documents.

Never Trumpers Have Their Talking Points

Not to be outdone by Psaki, Never Trumper Charlie Sykes said that a new President Trump would throw people into “concentration camps.”

Trump’s opponents appear to have settled on this line of attack.

The editor of the neoconservative outlet The Bulwark told MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough, “Donald Trump is laying out what Trump 2.0 would be. His admiration for Chairman Mao, his admiration for (Chinese) President Xi (Jinping) and (Russian President) Vladimir Putin is intense, to turn the government into a weapon of revenge and retribution, the plans — the detailed plans — for mass deportations and concentration camps.”

Trump’s Veterans Day Message

Psaki and Sykes base their claims on Trump’s statements like his Veterans Day message on Truth Social, which Sykes also cited.

Trump wrote:

In honor of our great Veterans on Veteran’s [sic] Day, we pledge to you that we will root out the Communists, Marxists, Fascists, and Radical Left Thugs that live like vermin within the confines of our Country, lie, steal, and cheat on Elections, and will do anything possible, whether legally or illegally, to destroy America, and the American Dream.

The threat from outside forces is far less sinister, dangerous, and grave, than the threat from within. Despite the hatred and anger of the Radical Left Lunatics who want to destroy our Country, we will MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!

Additionally, Trump has vowed to clean up the federal bureaucracy through Schedule F – and this appears to be the biggest point of contention for the left.

Typical media coverage reads similar to NBC’s coverage of Schedule F, which would:

… reclassify tens of thousands of federal employees involved in policy decisions as at-will employees. In other words, they would lose their employment protections, and it would be much easier for a president to fire them.
