Who Saved Themself From The Block & Who Was Evicted?

Who Saved Themself From The Block & Who Was Evicted?

Another  Big Brother Houseguest has left the house for Seaon 28. Find out who won the Blockbuster and who ultimately went home.

After Rome Seymour‘s eviction, the house was clearly divided. However, he was taken out in a 12-to-1 vote, with only Taylor Brown voting to evict Melody Morris. Rome’s showmance, Lyric Medeiros, even voted with the house.

But after an explosive nomination ceremony in week two, sides were clearly established. The other side of the house tried to gain power. Were they successful?

Here’s what has gone down in week three of the competition so far.

HOH: Kamuela “Kamu” Kirk, the professional MMA fighter, won the wrestling competition. Houseguests had to correctly answer true-or-false questions after watching a wrestling match between Season 10 and 11’s Jessie Godderz and two other wrestlers.

Nominations: Lyric, Mallory Aurichio, and LaTrice Verret were all nominated. Kamu promised Lyric he wouldn’t put her up on the block because he had another target in mind — Jason De Puy. However, when Kamu’s allies convinced him that Jason is a good competitor and that he could win the veto, he decided to change his nominations and put Lyric up as a pawn.

Timecapsule: America chose Rick Devens to enter the Timecapsule. In this room, the winner spins around in a chair and presses a button. They can win either a power or a punishment. Devens was lucky and won a power, perhaps the best of all — the Diamond Power of Veto. This power allows the winner to remove someone from the block and put up another person in their place, instead of the HOH doing it. He has the opportunity to use it for up to six weeks.

POV: Lyric won the POV in a pickleball-style competition. She took herself off the block, and Kamu nominated Jason.

The two men had a big fight during the house teaparty, where Kamu said that Jason lied about his plans for the Veto. Kamu claimed that Jason promised him he would not use the Veto if he won, but Jason told all of the nominees that he would use it on them if he did. Jason just wanted to guarantee his safety, so he told everyone what they wanted to hear. This resulted in arguing between the two men and everyone else keeping quiet.

Blockbuster: Mallory won the Blockbuster. The Houseguests had to grab VHS tapes from a stack and place them in a bin without knocking over the tower. Whoever had the most tapes in their bin at the end of the game, won. Mallory had eight while Jason had seven. LaTrice knocked her tower over at two, so she couldn’t go on.

Evicted: In a 12 to zero vote, Jason was evicted.

Since everything except the evictions takes place before it is shown on TV, tune into the live feeds to find out ahead of time if you’d like to know before the show airs.

Big Brother, Season 28, Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 8/7c, CBS, stream next day on Paramount+
