90 Day Fiancé: The Single Life stars Big Ed Brown and Liz Woods aired their romance on the spinoff. Fans want to know if they’re still together.
Find out if the infamous 90 Day Fiancé star Big Ed Brown is still with Liz Woods after they rekindled their 90 Day: The Single Life romance. TLC viewers first saw Big Ed alongside his now ex-girlfriend Rosemarie (Rose) Vega on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 4. Owing to Big Ed’s bad behavior, Rose dumped him while he was visiting her in the Philippines, and became a 90 Day Fiancé icon. While Big Ed received tremendous criticism on the Internet, TLC brought him back onscreen for The Single Life season 1, during which he met single mom and restaurant manager, Liz.
However, as with his relationship with Rose, Big Ed’s romance with Liz started going downhill quickly. There were no sparks between them at first, but their friendship soon blossomed into love. Big Ed tried to rush things with Liz, leading to fights and breakups. While 90 Day: The Single Life season 1 was still airing, Liz announced her breakup with Big Ed. Soon enough, an alarming phone call recording between Big Ed and Liz was leaked on the Internet, in which he hurled abuse at her (and gaslighted her) for almost four minutes. There came a time when Liz publicly supported a Change.org petition which asked TLC to fire Big Ed. As per Big Ed, Liz became depressed after their breakup. In the meantime, he started therapy to become a changed man.
After Big Ed’s dog Teddy’s death, Liz reached out to him and the couple reconciled. A dinner date took place, and Big Ed and Liz got engaged the very next day, following his trip to a jewelry store, where he bought the biggest diamond that he could find. While the engagement took place in August 2021, Big Ed and Liz confirmed it in November 2021, in a statement (via UsWeekly). That statement read: “We are each other’s forever, and yes, we are engaged.” Fans, and Big Ed’s 90 Day Fiancé co-stars, have called him out for using Liz because he’s in love with himself and desperate. Liz has also been accused of being fame-hungry, but somehow Big Ed and Liz are still together and happy, unlike most other franchise couples. In December, Big Ed and Liz welcomed a new family member, a puppy called Lea, who became a younger friend for her daughter Ryleigh and older puppy, Leon.
However, in March, fans saw Liz posting (and then deleting) an Instagram update, in which he wrote that she wants him to break up with her so she can become single again. “I am tired of being me!! I am belittled in creating a lifestyle that will never be me!!! I cannot wait to be fired and I cannot wait to be dumped and Single!” Liz wrote in the Instagram post caption, after attaching a mirror selfie. Big Ed then posted an Instagram video to explain that Liz was hacked. All of Liz’s older posts were wiped from her profile. While fans were skeptical, and believed that Liz was lying (and trying to do damage control), on 28 April, she celebrated Big Ed’s 57th birthday with him, in the most loving way. On 22 May, Big Ed was a part of Liz’s birthday celebrations as well.
Liz has been proud of her weight loss journey lately, and has been showing off her progress on social media. It’s rumored that Big Ed and Liz will get married in August of this year, so it is possible that she’s preparing to look her best on her big day. Just like Liz, Big Ed has also lost weight. He has seemingly been trying his best to stay out of trouble, as there’s been no recent Big Ed controversy that’s being talked about in the news. Fans had predicted that Big Ed and Liz’s 90 Day Fiancé relationship would crash and burn, which it did. However, considering the fact that they are still going strong, Big Ed and Liz may really be in love with each other, rather than just chasing clout.
