Sienna Spiro’s “Great Expectation” is the U.K.’s No. 1 for a third consecutive week (Sept. 25).
The song is one of three by Spiro inside the top 40 alongside “Die on This Hill” (No. 11) and “Pure,” which rises 11 places to a new peak at No. 28.
Spiro will perform at Sunday’s MTV VMAs (Sept. 27), held at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles, with RAYE, Madonna, LISA and more all set to grace the stage. The Brit will then head out on a North American headline tour in the following weeks.
Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” holds its position at No. 2, having grabbed just one week at the summit of the U.K.’s Official Singles Chart to date. Earlier this week Langley smashed the all-time record for the longest-leading No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with a 23rd week for her breakout hit, surpassing previous record-holder Mariah Carey and her festive hit “All I Want For Christmas Is You.”
Stella Lefty‘s “Boston” rises one spot to No. 3, while ADÉLA’s “Nicole Kidman” rides a wave of momentum up to No. 4, an 11-position rise on last week. Dua Lipa’s “Training Season” holds its spot at No. 5 following a viral trend linked to the track; the song previously peaked at No. 4 upon its original release in 2024.
Cardiff-born, LA-based Jamie Millar scores his first-ever top 10 hit with “Babydoll,” which rises 16 places as the week’s highest climber. Sombr’s “My Body Isn’t Ready” lifts six spots to No. 10, while Noah Kahan sees gains for “Orbiter” (No. 18) and “Willing and Able” (No. 21).
