Fans Slam Jax Taylor For Vanity
46-year-old reality star Jax Taylor is leaving The Valley to focus on his sobriety. However, his departure comes after he had a turbulent second season. Taylor went through a stint in rehab, and his marriage to Brittany Cartwright came to an end. In addition, Jax confessed to his on-and-off cocaine addiction over the last two decades. Taylor announced his exit from the Bravo production in July. He said:
“After an incredibly challenging year and many honest conversations with my team and producers, I’ll be stepping away from the next season of The Valley. Right now, my focus needs to be on my sobriety, my mental health and coparenting. Taking this time is necessary for me to become the best version of myself — especially for our son, Cruz.”
In one of his last appearances with The Valley cast, Jax Taylor was called out by fans. Fans noticed that Jax was wearing height-enhancing shoes. The Valley alum is already 5′ 10″. During the Season 2 reunion show, he wore Toto sneakers that are valued at $118 and make the wearer “2.4 inches taller.” Fans are slamming Taylor for focusing on his appearance instead of his behavior. They said:
“He’s at least 5’10” without the lifts why is he even bothering to do that 😂 Jax your height is nothing to be insecure about…you’re literally tall…. Let’s focus on being a better person, not a taller one lol.”
Jax Taylor’s Major Secret Revealed
This isn’t the first time that Jax Taylor has revealed that he wears height-enhancing shoes. During a January 2019 episode of Watch What Happens Live, the announcer revealed that Taylor “secretly wears heel inserts in his shoes to make him look taller.” His secret was revealed when Jax, Tom Sandoval, and Tom Schwartz were playing trivia.
Andy Cohen asked Jax Taylor, Tom Sandoval, and Tom Schwartz some trivia questions about their significant others. Jax’s trivia question was to guess what Brittany Cartwright’s “freak number” in bed is, on a scale from one to 10. Taylor had guessed 8, and Cartwright had guessed 9. The incorrect answer led to the announcer revealing Jax’s secret. The Valley star shouted, “These are platforms!” The announcer responded, “And fun fact — so does Sandoval!” Taylor turned to Sandoval and said, “I swear to God, I told people we would kill them if they told anyone about that.”
