Gia Giudice is putting her co-star on blast for what she said on TV. Gia went on the Virtual Reali-Tea podcast and talked about a recent falling out between herself, Ava, and her mom, Teresa Giudice. So what exactly happened?
During Season 1 of Next Gen NYC, Ava claims that Teresa unfollowed her on social media. While this may not sound like a big deal to the average person, an unfollow on social media is a big deal to these girls. Not only is Gia already protective of her mom, but she thinks that this was just Ava trying to cause drama on TV. Especially because Ava and Gia had seen each other recently, but she chose to wait until they were filming to bring it up.
“It came out of nowhere and it just seems very convenient. That’s why I thought the whole thing was very calculated because this wasn’t the first time Ava and I had seen each other,” Gia reveals, according to Page Six.
Gia makes it clear on the show that there’s no way this is intentional. Mostly because her mom isn’t that tech savvy, and she probably wouldn’t even think to unfollow someone on social media. Instead, Gia thinks it’s all about Ava and her appearance on camera, especially because her family has been reported to have some financial problems. Gia thinks that Ava made up this storyline to distract from her own embarrassment about her situation.
“She’s very aware of her image and how she would like to be perceived. Obviously, nobody likes bad press or bad attention. But, unfortunately, that comes with this territory,” Gia says.
It’s Not All bad
There may be drama going on between the two girls; however, that won’t stop Gia from complimenting Ava’s appearance. However, that doesn’t mean she’s just handing out over-the-top compliments either.
“You could be nasty and still beautiful,” Gia says.
So, it seems that Gia won’t be getting over this social media fall-out anytime soon. Only time will tell if Ava comes around and explains what is really going on.
